Get the bookmarklet on the Spockholm Mafia Tools testing page.

This bookmarklet was developed by F.M. with some additional features added by Spockholm.

The first time you use the bookmarklet, you need to add extended permissions to Mafia Wars.
1. Launch the bookmarklet in a unframed MW page, the bookmarklet will ask to unframe if needed.
2. Tick the box, “Ask permission”.
3. Press Scan.

A popup will ask if you want to allow Mafia Wars to read the facebook wall stream.
This is only needed one time per Facebook account (hopefully).

You can now launch the bookmarklet again and use the QuickTick link for fast selections.
It is recommended to use the filled in values until you are familiar with the bookmarklet.

When Scan is pressed, the bookmarklet will show a line similar to this: Found 173 interesting wall posts.
This means the bookmarklet found 173 items related to the searches you ticked. (Jobs, Boosts, Loot etc…)

You can now press the “Next link” in the top left to start checking all the 173 found items, one by one.
It is recommended to do this a few times to see if it actually works.

When you have seen the pages load and some stats being logged, you can press the green play icon to start checking all the links with a random delay.

Configurating Stream Helper

Hours to load: Here you enter how many hours of stream to load. High numbers will take longer time to load.
Delay interval: The delay between page loads will be randomized in this range, modify it to fit your computer/broadband performance.
Ask permission: Ask for permission to read Facebook stream? Only needed one time.
Achievement: Scan for achievement links for collecting the bonuses.
Bonus: Scan for bonuses (boosts).
Boss: Scan for boss jobs. (Moscow bosses)
Jobs: Scan for jobs in selected cities and selected tiers.
Launder: Scan for money laundering jobs.
Loot: Scan for loot help jobs.
Stash: Scan for secret stashes.
War: Scan for wars. Wars older than 6 hours will be ignored (since wars are only active 6 hours).

Problems?

No matching links were found, increase time or add more categories.
Also make sure you have asked for permission on this account.
You may need to re-ask for permission. Try that.

You must be logged in to Facebook to use this feature.
Not sure why this popup is shown when asking permission, press Okay a few times and then the x to close. That might resolve it.
You can also try reloading the game, maybe it is session related?
It is also possible that logging out and logging in again to FB will solve this.

The bookmarklet stops running.
Increase the delays, maybe you are requesting pages faster than your computer/internet connection can handle.
Also it could be game related, be patient and try again later.

Spending stamina without carpal tunnel syndrome.

AttackX is a bookmarklet to repeat attacks on someone. Spammer Hunt is to find known spammers*.

The spammer is picked from this list of known spammers.

Step one, installing the bookmarklets

The bookmarklets can be found on the testing page (AttackX Beta) and the official bookmarklet page (Spammer Hunt and AttackX).

Drag and drop the bookmarklets to your bookmark toolbar. If the toolbar is not visible in Chrome, press ctrl+b.

Step two, using Spammer Hunt to find a suitable target

Press your bookmarked Spammer Hunt link and you will be forwarded to someones MW profile page. As a test it is recommended to attack once to check your attack strength.

If the attack is successful and you wish to keep attacking the spammer, proceed to step three.

Step three, using AttackX

On the fight result screen from the step above, press your AttackX bookmark.

A popup will ask if you wish to unframe MW, Press ok.

You will be taken back to the spammers MW profile page but now without the facebook frame.

Press the AttackX bookmarklet again and enter how many attacks you wish to make. (Preset is your current stamina).

Sit back and relax, enjoy the feeling of spanking a spammer.

Page is shrinking.

With Firefox the game may start shrinking as soon as it is unframed. This is due to a javascript trying to resize the now non existing frame.

Fix: Tools, Options, Content, Advanced by Javascript, Untick “Move or Resize existing windows“.

Stuck in a temp-key loop, stopping. You should reload Mafia Wars and try again.

There is a session that will time out within 15-30 minutes.  In order to get bookmarklets working again you need to reload and re-unframe the game.

When this happens use Spammer Hunt again, this will reload the game and you can find a new spammer.

*A spammer is someone who repeatedly posts add me comments on the facebook fan page. The list of known spammers.

AttackX v2.10 beta only worked from profile pages.

Known issues:

Does not work with Opera or Internet Explorer.

Update: Thanks to Yevgen Silant’yev it works with Opera now. He contributed with code for handling the base64 encoding.

Some bookmarklets work regardless of the language you use Facebook in. Others require English.

To change languange, scroll to the bottom of any Facebook page, and click your current to the left.

With the new Moscow episode 3 Zynga changed a lot of the urls in the game. <nerd>They now use base64 encoding on some urls and variables.</nerd>

This broke AttackX but that has now been fixed.

News in this release is that it will attack from a MW-profile page, NOT the fight screen.  Combined with Spammer Hunt this is pretty sweet.

All live bookmarklets now point to this version. You do not have to reinstall anything.

When this release is deemed stable it will be the officially linked version on the bookmarklet page. New features will be introduced in the beta release found on the testing page.

ExpEnergy has been updated to support Moscow.

A bunch of numbers are presented.

• Exp/energy job ratio needed to level.
• Stamina/attack needed to level.
• Experience needed to next level.
• Exp/energy ratio for jobs after spending all stamina. Based on a average of 2.5xp/attack
• Cash/energy for jobs.
• And ofcourse the Exp/energy ratio for jobs.

It is now also a live bookmarklet, meaning it will update automatically.

Some bookmarklet updates go into beta testing period before going official. Right now that is:

ExpEnergy

This beta release adds money/energy information and works in Moscow. It will show exp/energy ratio and exp/stamina ratio needed to level.

A combined value is also shown, based on you spending all your stamina first then doing jobs. It is calculated on the average of ~2.5 exp/stamina gained when attacking.

War Hunter v1.01 beta

A experimental bookmarklet that searches your friend list for active wars. Does not work very well if you have a active war yourself.

RepeatJob v1.14 beta

This version supports Moscow jobs.

AttackX v2.09 beta

A lot of new features.

• Cookies saving settings for healing city and delay. Also for the continue or pause on event.
• Option to disable healing. Toggle chain is New York -> Cuba -> Moscow -> Disabled -> New York.
• If your attack strength is changed it will be marked in the log with green text.
• Showing the target name with link to mafia-profile on status messages.
• Possibility to continue attacking after a pause.

Be aware that beta versions are updated silently from time to time to fix bugs found.

Job Helper v1.04 update

New features added in this release

• Selecting what cities to check for jobs, New York, Cuba, Moscow and Boss Moscow (bossfights)
• Hiding or showing the log
• Running on gift page will sort out non-mw friends

Usage, run on any mafia page to get to the config screen.

The second row will show something like this if you run it from the gifting screen.

Problems are usually related to running several instances at once or using Facebook in a language other than English.

AttackX to the extreme, loot log from 4000 fights.

AttackX with 4000 attacks, loot gained.

AttackX v2.08 is released, the beta tag has been removed.

This latest release of the repeat attacker features some new stuff.

• Pausing on events like the target getting iced (below 20 health) or you are close to leveling.
• Hiding or showing the log and/or looted items.
• Healing in New York, Cuba or Moscow
• Text field for changing the delay aswell as +/- buttons.

The gun icon means there was a attack again button, the target is alive and not iced (above 20 health).
